Elizabeth holds a BFA in ceramics and photography from Siena Heights University in Adrian Michigan.

Spending her summers on the beaches of northern Michigan, Elizabeth fell in love with unique beauty of Michigan and all it has to offer. She incorporates nature into much of her work, from wedging beach sand into her clay or attaching pieces of drift wood to many pieces. Most of all, she spends hours walking the beaches to find the prized Petoskey Stone. She spends hours polishing these 350 million year old pieces of fossilized coral.

When not in her studio, Elizabeth is a designer for the glaze company Mayco, in Columbus Ohio.
